MEET THE BUILDER
James Young is the owner and builder of Young Builders Pty Ltd, a boutique building company in Melbourne’s North West. More than 15 years ago James commenced his builders career by studying a certificate 4 in Building Construction (CPC40120), following that he completed an Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (CPC502200). In 2015 James became a licensed builder in VIC & QLD commencing the Young Builders company.
His passion for building now extends beyond building but also teaching the same diploma for over 11 years at the Builders academy, Australia’s largest Builders TAFE, where James feels empowered to pass on his skills and experience to the next generation of builders.
So passionate about instilling those he teaches to become licensed builders after they complete the diploma, James also has a arm of Young Builders – Gench Holdings which has supported many students, learning under Young Builders on the companies projects in Melbourne to gain the further experience to become licensed builders themselves. This being James most rewarding role as a company Director, teacher and builder.
James believes in building quality homes that last generations, and oversees every build as the director. Being onsite with his trades, managing every step of the project ensures all Young Builders homes are built on time, to a high standard, to go to sale within 3-6 months of council approvals.
Whilst we face challenges with changes to todays building market, we build to who we think is the buyer of each property, what we believe is a well designed and constructed product, to how that buyer will live and grown within the property once purchased.
